Rachel Brockman
Library Media Specialist
Mrs. Brockman graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's of Education in Elementary Education, and completed her Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies at the University of Alabama. After teaching first grade in Orlando, FL and sixth grade Language Arts in Hoover, AL, she took the helm at Paine Primary School's Library at Trussville City Schools for 12 years. Mrs. Brockman was voted Paine Primary Teacher of the Year during the 2013-14 and 2015-26 school years, and was the recipient of the Alabama Library Expo's President's Award for excellent library services in 2015. This is her first year at Hewitt-Trussville Middle School. She lives in Trussville, AL with her husband, two children, her cat, and two guinnea pigs.
